New Courtesy Docks and an ADA accessible Canoe and Kayak Launch make a great addition to Horizon Park Waterfront on High Street in Belleville, Downtown on the Lake.
HORIZON PARK WATERFRONT DEDICATION CEREMONY was held on August 20, 2015 during the Annual Taste of Belleville celebration. The Heavner Livery is brought canoes and kayaks to Horizon Park, residents enjoyed complimentary paddling on the lake.



Access to the docks and launch from Horizon Park is via steps with a canoe/kayak slide, or from the ADA ramp off the City parking lot on High Street.
Boaters on Belleville Lake can use the Courtesy Docks to tie up for quick access to shopping and dining in downtown Belleville.
Horizon Park is a favorite recreation spot of residents and visitors. The City of Belleville enjoys a beautiful traditional downtown, and it's lakefront location provides unique opportunities to enjoy the lake for fishing, boating, or nature viewing.
Huron River Water Trail
Belleville Lake is a part of the Huron River Water Trail recognized 104-mile inland paddling trail from Proud Lake to Lake Erie. This nationally recognized water trail connects people to the river's natural environment, its history and the communities it touches in Michigan's Lower Peninsula.
